you can't see me

I appreciated that they didn’t just have Belinda be the “magic minority” figure that puts everything aside that she’s been through and helps Rachel make a plan, because that’s not fair on Belinda to have to help yet another rich white woman after her own dreams were just crushed and she got her hopes up for nothing

No one tends to Belinda’s tears and it sucks. When she breaks down and cries it’s even interrupted by Tanya coming back just for her sunglasses and by yet another phone call to the spa for a booking.

So Belinda saying to Rachel “I’m all out” after asking her “you want my advice?” Is especially powerful.

And it’s this very small assertiveness because the very next day she ends up having to greet and tend to a new cast of people.

Feminism has come circle. The original feminists were like “sleeping with a man has no impact on your worth as a person” and now suddenly we’ve become so woke that sleeping with a man now DOES impact your worth as a person. The 1800s called, they want their politics back.

Yeah, no. That’s not why lesbians don’t wanna date bisexuals.

Anyone can choose who they want or don’t want to date but acting like bisexual and straight women have “Man Residue” is just disturbing

JUST LET PEOPLE HAVE THEIR RIGHT TO CONSENT

I don’t understand what’s so hard about that. If someone doesn’t want to be with you or have sex with you, THAT IS THEIR RIGHT AND THEY OWE YOU NOTHING

Literally no one is saying that lesbians have to date anyone, they’re saying that the concept of bi women having Man Residue that makes them lesser is biphobic.

You’re still allowed to refuse to date someone for shitty, biphobic reasons. But if your reasons are shitty and biphobic, people are gonna point that out.

HTH.
